Our Story
Forced by the Covid pandemic to use modern technology in order to deliver talks to groups, John Hope, with links in Sri Lanka, looked towards that country when requiring a website. In Rasika Thenuwara, he found an excellent designer but also a kindred entrepreneurial spirit. As the relationship developed, the pair decided to pool their expertise, resources and contacts in order to enable modern communication and technology become available to a wider audience by introducing competitive prices.
Vision
To enhance and embrace trade and cooperation across continents; countries and cultures between individuals, companies and conglomerates of all sizes, structures and industries.
Mission
To create individual and business partnerships by providing the conduit through which people and companies can work together, locally, regionally, nationally and internationally, enabling all to benefit from modern communication methods.
About John Hope
With a wealth of experience in marketing, general management and business development John Hope has held senior positions with multinational conglomerates including Heinz and Hertz in addition to national and local companies in the UK. A past president of a local area Chamber of Commerce he has served on the board of a large Chamber of Commerce; national sporting governing body; been chairman of a charity; run several sports clubs and holds the Queens award for volunteering.
His lengthy international trading experience takes in most of Europe; China; Cyprus; India; Turkey; Sri Lanka and the USA.
Having studied accounting at the Universities of Hull and Bristol; marketing and business at Lincoln University and the Chartered Institute of Marketing, John is
a Fellow of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management; Institute of Fundraising and Nottingham Trent University indicating the depth of knowledge and experience held.
John accepts that Rasika’s technical knowledge blends them into a perfect team capable of taking on any type and size of client.
About Rasika Thenuwara
Heading up our technical department is Sri Lankan based Rasika Thenuwara, experienced web designer and well known entrepreneur. Rasika created two companies in Sri Lanka to design websites and develop online systems and has serviced clients in Australia; Canada; Singapore; USA and the United Kingdom.
After studying Information Technology at the Open University in Sri Lanka he also obtained experience in graphic design and advertising.
Business visits to Singapore have created a taste for international operation and Rasika sees the development of web design, together with digital marketing as a world changing way in which business is carried out both globally and locally.
This has been enhanced by the development of communication by Zoom which, whilst not an ideal replacement for face-to-face meetings is much more convenient than having to rely on lengthy exchanges of emails.
